3. Catching Pokemon
Every catch is random. You get a unique Pokemon with random species, type, and stats.
What you get:
A random Pokemon species (Pikachu, Charizard, Bulbasaur, etc)
Random element type (Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, etc)
Random stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Speed)
Random rarity (Common to Legendary)
Rules:
Max 3 Pokemon per trainer
50% catch rate - if you fail the Pokemon escapes
Each Pokemon is unique - no two catches are the same
catch result
> Wild Pikachu appeared
> Throwing Pokeball...
> Gotcha! You caught Pikachu the Electric type
> Added to your party (1/3)
4. Feeding System
Feed your Pokemon to keep them happy and help them grow.
How Feeding Works
Say "feed" to feed your first Pokemon
Say "feed my second berries" to pick which one and what food
You can feed anything - pizza, berries, ramen, whatever you want
Your Pokemon will react to what you feed them
Feed count matters:
Feeds increase your Pokemons growth stage
Happy Pokemon perform better in battles
60 minute cooldown between feeds per Pokemon
If you dont feed your Pokemon it gets hungry and sad. Nobody wants a sad Pokemon.
5. Battle System
Battle other trainers to earn XP and climb the leaderboard.
How Battles Work
Say "battle" or "fight" to start a battle
Your Pokemon fights a random opponents Pokemon
Winner gets XP and level up progress
Stats, types, and levels all matter
Pick your fighter:
"battle with my second pokemon"
"send charizard to battle"
"fight with my 2nd"
If you dont pick one your strongest Pokemon goes out
Battle rewards:
Win = gain XP and level up
Wins and losses tracked on your profile
Top trainers show on the leaderboard
6. Growth Stages
Your Pokemon grows based on how much you feed and battle.
Growth stages:
Baby (0-2 feeds) - Where everyone starts
Teen (3-5 feeds) - Getting stronger
Adult (6+ feeds) - Full power unlocked
Champion (10+ wins) - Certified fighter
Master (50+ wins) - Pokemon Master status
Leveling Up
Battles give XP which increases your Pokemon's level
Higher level = better stats in battles
Growth stage is based on feed count and wins
7. Managing Your Team
You can have up to 3 Pokemon. Pick which one to feed, check, or battle with.
Picking a Pokemon
By name: "check pikachu" or "feed charizard"
By number: "check my first" or "feed my 2nd"
By position: "battle with my second pokemon"
No pick = defaults to first Pokemon
Check your full team:
Just say "check" with no name to see all 3 Pokemon side by side
Shows names, types, levels, stats, and growth stage for each
If you say "check my 3rd" but only have 2 Pokemon, it will tell you and list your team
8. Tips and Tricks
Pro trainer tips:
Feed your Pokemon regularly for faster growth
Battle often to level up and earn wins
Check your team before battles to see whos strongest
Just talk naturally, no special format needed
Ask questions and Pokex will chat with you about anything Pokemon
Natural language works:
"catch pokemon" = catch
"how is my pokemon" = check
"give pikachu some food" = feed
"lets fight" = battle
"take my pokemon for a walk" = activity
